For the first time we have seen this smartphone design, and its cool! Xiaomi showcased a concept of their leading smartphones that's pushed the boundaries of its display. It's called the Mi Mix Alpha.
The Alpha's screen was wraps around the device and the company is calling it the surround display. Obviously fans are eager to see this for real where the physical state of the phone was completely made of screen.
Alpha uses Samsung's new 108-megapixel camera sensor and it says they used a combination of aerospace-grade titanium alloy and a sapphire glass embedded in high-precision ceramics to come up with an insane design.
For its cameras, the Mi Mix Alpha has a triple camera module with 108MP primary lens, 20MP ultra wide angle camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The company said, the concept smartphone of Mix Alpha isn't going to be mass-production but will go into small-scale production this year and it will go on sale in December for 19,999 yuan or about $2,800.
It also announced their 5G variant of the Mi 9 Pro, the second 5G smartphone that uses the ultra-high-resolution image sensor. It has the ability to download files of up to 2.02Gbps. Xiaomi says this is 10 times faster than the standard Mi 9.
