CyanogenMod 14.1 (Android 7.1 Nougat) ROM for Lenovo A6000/Plus

An unofficial port of CyanogenMod 14.1 is now available for Lenovo A6000/Plus, which brings Android 7.0 Nougat and new features to the phone. If you are excited to taste the all-new Nougat on your Lenovo A6000/Plus, then you can install the CyanogenMod 14.1 custom ROM, if your device is rooted and have TWRP custom recovery installed on it.

In this guide, we show you the installation procedure for unofficial CyanogenMod 14.1 (Android 7.0 Nougat) on Lenovo A6000/Plus. Before get start, note that the present status of the ROM is Beta, which means it is not stable, contain bugs. However, most things are working fine, except FM radio and video have fps problems sometimes.

Installation Instructions

  • Make sure you are on stock lollipop or a lollipop/marshmallow based custom rom
  • Wipe system/ data/ dalvik cache/ cache partition
  • Flash the ROM
  • Flash Gapps without booting into system
  • Reboot.
  • First boot will take a while…be patient, it will boot

  • Camcorder works but there is some issue with fps
